What we’re looking for
We hire experienced, reliable cleaners who take pride in their work.
- 3+ years of paid experience cleaning homes
- Your own reliable car and a valid driver’s license
- Your own cleaning supplies
- You live in or near our service area, the Poconos and Lehigh Valley
- Willing to pass a background check, since you’ll be working inside people’s homes
- Your own liability insurance is a plus
This is residential home cleaning, not office or janitorial work.
How it works
Lucy’s is a referral agency – think Uber for cleaning. You’re an independent contractor, not an employee: you run your own cleaning business, and we send you extra paid jobs to fill the open spots in your schedule. Pass our application and interview once, and from then on, when a job near you fits your schedule, we offer it and you decide whether to take it. Being on the platform costs you nothing but reliable communication: answer job offers quickly, and once you accept a job, show up and finish it within the scope we booked. Work isn’t guaranteed, but the cleaners who communicate well and do great work get offered the most.
